This show was fun! Thanks to everyone who stuck around till 1 to watch us.
And in honour of my breaking the 666 posts mark, here's a super Satanic band playing a super Satanic song, and one of many stories about the importance of Satanic themes in my life:
As a young 15 or 16 year old kid I took a lot of drugs, particularly acid and mushrooms. I was into listening to a lot of dark crazy music at the time too, and I used to always hear things in songs that weren't actually there, but that I thought were cool. One time I was really high and in a dark room somewhere and this song was playing, and I was convinced that Glen Benton's chant of "KILL HIM KILL HIM" (referring to Jesus) was actually "DYLAN DYLAN" the second time around. This made me so stoked, and was one of many moments that contributed to my war with religious ideas. And so I would often play the song on my headphones in class (in a Catholic School at the time) and just get so stoked on Satanic imagery/ideas/blasphemies. At that confusing time, those moments feel like great victories.
This has been another Satanic moment.
