It's a pretty unique to Regina kind of party.
Also, next year the Harvest King will be making rounds the next day throughout all of his serfdom in pursuit of baked goods. This was tried this year but no one was ready and we ended up getting distracted by beers.

I saw Monique ask what this was days ago but honestly how do you explain the Harvest Dance?

"Okay, so a few years ago, based on one guy's wacky imagination and a Stephen King novella, everyone in the hardcore scene gathered for a formal country and western event involving old parlour games and the crowning of a king based on which man gathered the most vegetables in his horn of plenty. Then we started a record label. It's now a yearly tradition."

I'm going to bring the trophy to the Christmas show. You can come see the treasure in person Moniqué.

Rather than explaining, I usually just tell people it's a seasonal celebration, like Christmas or Halloween, just better.

I would say we have three solid traditions which are the Harvest Dance, the Christmas show with QCP Secret Santa, and probably MayDay. Three great events to look forward to and are well spread out. My fave is the Christmas show.

I regretted missing last year's Xmas show. Won't make that mistake this year.
