This show was kinda weird. I went for the sole purpose of seeing the Jump Off and buying stuff from the distro, and wound up watching like five metalcore/posi pop punk bands.

I think the proper term is "Tattoo pop". I was there working security.

Brandy, I think you are awesome, and I appreciate you letting me set up the distro at that show! But those opening bands were so fucking torturous. I mean literally that was my hell. Living With Panthera leos was fine because I actually used to listen to them back in the Dude Manor days. But wow, my jaw was literally dropped at some points. Daytrader sounded like the singer should be the leading role in High School Musical. But a intellectual pop punk kid version. Kinda like what they did with the Green Day musical.
BUT I did end up selling some records, which ruled. But this made me realize I have no good pop punk in the distro. But it doesn`t seem like pop punk kids really care about records too much anyway.
But again, Brandy you rule. Thanks a bunch.

Major League kind of scared me. And watching the metalcore bands in the club was just plain uncomfortable.

Regardless of the different opinions of the night, I thought it was an awesome show, I enjoyed all the bands (although I didn't really get to watch), and I enjoyed the amount of people that showed up. Thanks to everyone that did.

When I read this I thought "I love High School Musical! I should check this out, as it probably rules." Emily was right, and I did check it out and it did rule. Wish I was in town for that show.
