Thank-you, don't worry all will be revealed at the show. You have to remember that Prop Planes is a multifaceted team and the music is just one aspect of the project. Also you can buy advanced tickets to the big revealing at Coda Clothing & Shoes. All of the clothing that we wear in our photo-shoots can be purchased at the shop. Mention Prop Planes into one of the ears of the Coda Clan and you can receive 15% off. Buy for now. See you guys on the other side. a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/418206_327340130645662_196290517083958_875406_2082203050_n.jpg[/img]
It's so much worse/better than I ever could have imagined. I can't wait for the other facets.

Hey this is Nick Faye.
1) How long has QCP still been a thing for? 2) That Prairie Dog post in this thread raises a valid question. 3) Every dude that I've met from the band has been nice. 4) I've never been to one, but I'd imagine that a Prop Planes show would have the weirdest mix of people at it. I don't think I'd like it.
That being said, I hope it's a good show. A band is a band in a scene as small as Regina, and at least it's another artistic event that will get people out to a show supporting local artists and local venues.

I think I met these guys at earls east the other night. They seem pretty nice. They were talking about going s boarding. I'm new to the city but I don't think there are any mountains here. None that I can see anyways.

None that I can see anyways. There's Garbage Mountain. It's our garbage dump, and you can't snowboard down it. You can see it from around the city though! That whole "Earl's Scene" makes me very nauseous. I foolishly went to a patio party there this summer. I wanted to leave after 15 minutes. They have decent food, but the scene is really weird.

If anyone wants the "scene" to grow and for local music to flourish and get awesome, this is the exact opposite of what you should do.

Is 'Rock, Alternative - Old Bones' a real track title? If so, maybe all this is on some real meta, self-aware tip. That would be a twist.

Edit: 667 posts goddammit I knew there was a reason I abandoned this account.Yeah, discourage people from playing in bands and putting on shows is what we should do to grow our scene.. Is the "marketing before music" thing stupid? Yeah it is. But at least they have an EP out/they are playing shows now. It was tough to justify their existence before that happened. They're not terrible musicians, and even if they were why wouldn't we want them to be playing shows and bringing people to cultural events in the city? They may not be my "thing" per say but I'm glad that there are three bands playing the Exchange that night and that people will actually probably go out to the show.

Supporting a band you know is bad is just obviously a bad idea, I want to say?
People who are genuinely into this band can and will support them; I've see what their turnout is like. No one else is obligated, not for the sake of the "scene" or anything else.
