That is so rage inducing... Also Dylan, you've got to remember that this is a show that someone like Fink would go to, you know? People my age with really comfy jobs, car payments and houses in the south end, who remember going to punk shows as a kid in the same way they remember wearing baggy pants or having a crush on the prettiest girl in class, who are all SORT OF cool when you get them drunk and the real self that's been beaten down by a thousand nights of watching Lost or date nights at Earl's (then a Reese Witherspoon movie!) is exposed, who rent cabins with other couples in the summer and go out and drink a milPanthera leo cans of Kokanee before the women take over the stereo and the party descends into some semi-ironic Bon Jovi singalong, who have snowboards and wakeboards but no skateboards in their garage, who are like "Oh cool, a show? People still play rock shows in Regina? I haven't been to a show since The Pixies played here seven years ago" and they show up with their wives and maybe buy a T-shirt that they'll never wear, but most likely skim by the merch table looking like they don't know what to do with themselves before finding a nice spot in the corner to sip a Corona and maybe mingle with some of their coworkers from Sasktel or whatever. Did you want or expect these people to come to your show?

No, and I know this more than anyone, its just no longer comforting that the geeks have inherited the earth.

Did you want or expect these people to come to your show? yeah, the type of people who would get inner-bicep tattoos in fine script featuring this band's lyrics are welcome to this band

I went to this because my boyfriend's band played... didn't stay for much of Prop Planes. It was packed and it was a weird crowd.

I feel so bad about my inner-bicep fine script tattoo now. I'm glad I haven't shown it to anyone.

I'm surprised people are surprised that more people are stoked about shitty things than good things. It seems like the most obvious conclusion you could draw from everyday life. More people are stoked on the Riders and Pilsner than Propagandhi and Paddock Wood. Headline news.

I feel so bad about my inner-bicep fine script tattoo now. I'm glad I haven't shown it to anyone. real emotional tattoo you got there and yeah, people liking this band is totally unsurprising, but that's because there are like at least three other regina bands from the last five years i can think of completely offhand who have followed the same model of branding first -> good music second or never. that's just sort of the new model basically everywhere. don't let the bastards grind you down

These guys are the band that you know you know about. They’re on the tip of your tongue. They inspire to create an experience, a memory, a story… told through powerful chords, melodic riffs and inspirational lyrics that you can sink your teeth into. Prop Planes came together in early 2011, with the goal of being great songwriters, and giving their audiences an engaging experience.
The Prop Planes crew have all been instrumental in their local music scene since their early teens, and came together after success at all levels, local through international. Their music isn’t about every broken and battered relationship they’ve had (There’s enough of that already), but rather, a melodic alternative rock page-turner, inspiring you to fit the Prop Planes mentality into your life.
“Begging To Believe” is the bands debut effort which they will support within Canada with hopes of growing to an international audience.
